Document prepared by Norman McLaren explaining different ways of animating an object frame by frame, i.e. building a sequence of images in which each is slightly different from the preceding image. Handwritten explanations are accompanied by many illustrations. This document would serve as the canvas for Part 7 (never completed) of the series Animated Motion made by Norman McLaren and Grant Munro between 1976 and 1978.
