The film examines the many issues associated with the mining of uranium and its impact. Aboriginal perspectives are included along with the government's position. Uranium offers an interesting look at the conflict of values between environmentalists and industrialists and the people caught in the middle. While the terminology used is challenging, the concepts are comprehensible for most high school students.
