Beaver Family
Film  (14:16) 1929, production :
Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, provides a background for a story of friendship between man and animal. Grey Owl, the famous naturalist, had an amazing faculty for making friends with beaver, who would come when he called and take food from his hand without the slightest fear. The beaver stars of this film, Jelly Roll and Rawhide, are seen in the process of building a beaver lodge.
