The habits of individual citizens and consumers can have negative impacts on the environment and health of Canadians. For example, people’s addiction to their fossil fuel-burning vehicles contributes to air pollution. Conversely, eco-informed citizens and consumers can modify behaviours to benefit themselves and the environment.
