Specialist's biography

Born in 1919 in Vancouver, Harry Campbell joined the National Film Board (NFB) in 1941. He worked, most notably, in preparing film programs for the non-theatrical film circuits as well as in producing foreign language versions of NFB films. He left the NFB in 1946 and joined the United Nations, working at one time for UNESCO. He was later the chief librarian for the Toronto Public Library.
