Edna Poirier presents the Honourable C.D. Howe with the 100 millionth heavy projectile manufactured in Canada at a ceremony in the Defence Industries Limited factory in Cherrier, Quebec. C.D. Howe directed the war production program as head of the Department of Munitions and Supply.
