Nazi Soldiers March in Front of a German Memorial
Photographer unknown, postcard, Berlin, Germany, ca. 1939-1942

In Berlin, Nazi soldiers march proudly past the memorial to German victims of the First World War. This postcard is from the collection of Lieutenant Colonel Roy Douglas Rogers. In 1945, as liaison officer in Berlin he was one of the first Allied officers to visit the Reich Chancellery.
