The Nazis regarded Jews, Roma and certain other minorities as sub-human. Millions were put to death in a system of industrialized slaughter, including about six million European Jews. In 1965 a delegation of North American Jews, survivors of concentration camps, travel to Germany in the company of NFB filmmaker Donald Brittain. Bernard Laufer, a camp survivor, is part of the group.
